CORE SERVICES

We provide wide range of services helping the migrant recruitment process to complete. We assist and represent our clients, both Employer and Employee through the often-complex work and residence permit application process.

At least two organizations involved in application process which are Public employment and business services (TE Palvelut) and Finnish Immigration Services (Maahanmuuttovirasto) both providing work visa and residence permit partial decisions.

We work closely with these organizations and manage to monitor application process assisting both applicant and Employer.

There are several ways to apply for work visa and residence permit in Finland but we recommend using Enterfinland.fi website as most effective and time consuming. Forms can be completed and all pertinent documents uploaded on the website both from the side of applicant and Employer.

We assist and represent our clients through the often-complex work visa application process on both sides in Finland and Russia, making it as smooth as possible.

The Employer plays an important role in our success by helping us to fully understand job position details and business environment.

Once final decision is taken by both Finnish Public Employment Services (TE Palvelut) or Finnish Immigration Services (Maahamuuttovirasto) Employee shall wait for Work and Residence Permit Card. 

Employee then can visit the company that sponsored employment permit and start working after concluding work contract.

HResources is helping with Pre-employment Contract and Work Contract to conclude with Employer.
Pre-employment Contract is a three-side contract concluded between Employer, HResources and Employee.
Employee shall oblige to work at least 1 year at company sponsored employment visa.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

In addition to our core professional consultations service, we can also provide several add on options that can help when you’re preparing to apply for work and residence permit.

It is often difficult to provide all pertinent information and submit all required documents at the starting point. Some additional supporting documents can be requested by either Finnish Public Employment Services (TE Palvelut) or Finnish Immigration Services (Maahamuuttovirasto) while processing application. These documents will need to be in English or Finnish. We can advice what documents better to submit and get them translated.

HResources is committed to helping employees to find a proper accommodation close to Employer' location, open banking account, register with governmental and social security organizations.

AM I ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN FINLAND?

You are eligible to work in Finland in case you have a valid work permit. You don’t need to obtain a work permit in case

EEA countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN FINLAND?

If you’re not from one of the countries listed, you will need to obtain work permit before finding employment in Finland.

If you have already found a job in Finland and been accepted to work, or you have a visa but it prohibits you from working, you need to obtain a work permit.

You cannot apply for a work permit alone. You will have to find Finnish company which will sponsor your employment visa and provide supporting documents.

To visit Employer for an interview you will need visa. It can be tourist visa. Before the interview we usually arrange Skype or WhatsUp interview.

If you are a qualified worker we might ask you to produce video showing your professional skills. We will assess the video and if we are happy with it we will forward it to Employer for evaluation. We don't accept video files sent to us. Please upload the video to any file storage website and send us a link. Read more here and see examples of such video.

WHAT JOBS AM I ELIGIBLE FOR?

This will depend on the individual employer, the type of role, and your relevant skills and experience.

AVAILABLE JOBS IN FINLAND

If you are a scientist, any type of engineer, in IT (architect, analyst, web designer, software developer or programmer), an environmentalist, medical practitioner, science teacher, chef, professional orchestral musician, or dance choreographer, then you will probably find it easy to get a job in Finland, as these occupations are all in short supply in Finland.

Hospitality and retail have a high staff turnover so there are often vacancies in these sectors.

TIPS AND TRICKS

Besides CV, create a list of career options you think you'd really enjoy, not just the ones you think you can do. A good job search should start with you, not your CV.

Then think about the skills you have picked up. Is there crossover between the two? If so, use these lists to help identify the types of jobs and industries you are most suited to. Get to know yourself and focus on your strengths.

What makes you come alive? Ask yourself what really motivates you? Understand your unique skills, abilities and interests.

Establish what they consider to be an above-average CV. If you can afford it, consider asking a CV-writing agency to help you, but only one that comes recommended by someone in your network. As always, there's a bell curve of skill and you can spend a lot of money to very little effect if you hire the wrong agency.

Consider a video CV if you are in a technical field. We recommend putting it online, using YouTube or VimeoProduce. Produce a 30-second, a 90-second and a five-minute piece for your channel. It should not be long though. Make sure video reflects the professional image you are seeking to cast.

Apply for jobs above and below the level you are currently (or were formerly) working at. It's hard to generalise, but particularly if switching career, you need to be realistic about the level of opportunity that may be open to you.

Some agencies trawl for good CVs, then approach companies with the claim that they have the cream of the market. Employers hate being approached this way, so make sure that the ad you're responding to is a real job.

Use a universally accepted document format. "PDF or Word-compatible are the best. If your CV is in a different format, you're immediately reducing the chances of someone being able to access it – and thereby your chances of getting a job. We also accept CVs only in these formats.

Get a sensible email address. "bestgirl@emailaddress.ru might have been funny but find a good job you will need more solid address. Set up a separate address for career management and point all your social networks to that address. Set up a professional signature on your email account that shows your address, phone and links to LinkedIn, Facebok, VKontakte etc) on every sent email.

Get ready to talk about your skills and experience. How does your personality fit? What is your vision for the job? Why are you the best person to do it?

Be honest.Don't claim to have degrees or experiences you don't. Remember that many organisations check references. Any inconsistencies could lead to an employer rejecting you for this job position.

Same as practical skills will gain you confidence, languages can widen your world and will boost your CV. It can give you a whole new outlook.
