Работа в Финляндии

Для работы в Финляндии необходим вид на жительство (oleskelulupa), который дает прав на работу. Работа в Финляндии без этого документа строго наказуема.

EQUALITY AND NON-DISCRIMINATION AT WORK

The principle of equal treatment requires that all people, and in the context of the workplace all workers, have the right to receive the same treatment, and will not be discriminated against on the basis of criteria such as age, sex disability, nationality, race and religion.

There's Employer's obligation to promote equality and to eliminate discrimination. Among other things Employers are obliged to investigate and follow up on gender pay gaps at the individual workplaces.

SKILLS, LEARNING AND EMPLOYABILITY

Skills are the passport to employment; the better skilled individualS, the more employable they are. Good skills also tend to secure better-quality jobs and better earnings.

This section briefly summarizes the Finnish system for ensuring skills and employability and looks into the extent of training.

NATIONAL SYSTEM FOR ENSURING SKILLS AND EMPLOYABILITY

Skills identification, development, validation and recognition are conducted by both public institutions and labour market organizations. The Public employment and business services (TE Services) organize vocational labour market training to enhance the skills and employability of the unemployed. TE Services also provide personal guidance and information on vacancies and education to job seekers.
